Our video production process
We understand that creating high-quality videos is more than just beautiful films combined with compelling music and sound effects. It requires a comprehensive process that involves understanding the client's needs, the needs of their audience, crafting the right message, planning and execution.
Meeting your needs
Our video production process always begins with a detailed discussion with our clients to understand why they want a video, who their target audience is, and what the viewer needs to do after watching the video. Understanding you needs is crucial to ensure that the final product aligns with your vision, and even more important: that it gets you the desired result!
Crafting a Message and Script
Once we understand your needs, we work with you to craft a compelling message and, if needed, a script that aligns with your vision. This step is crucial as it forms the entire basis of the video production video production process.
Shot List
After the message and script are approved, we create a shot list that outlines what needs to be filmed and our shooting schedule. The script describes the plot, dialogue and action of the video, while the shot list specifies which shots to capture and how to frame them. This step ensures that we have all the material we need to create a high-quality video and that everyone is assigned a specific role when the cameras start rolling.
Shooting day
On the shooting day(s), we work according to the shot list to ensure that we capture all the necessary shots.
Every shot is captured multiple times to ensure we can pick highest quality shots in the editing room.
We use state-of-the-art video equipment to ensure that the shots are as smooth as possible and are of the highest quality, both in resolution and dynamic range.
Editing
The editing process is where the magic happens.
We review all the footage we have captured during the shoot and select the very best shots to tell the story.
We sync all the visuals with music and sound effects, correct the colours, apply colour grading, and add titles and animations to make the video stand out.
This step takes up around 80% of the entire production process, and we ensure that we deliver high-quality videos that are visually stunning and emotionally engaging.
Colour correction
and colour grading
Colour correction and grading are essential parts of the editing process.
Colour correction involves adjusting the colour of the footage to reach consistency across different shots and scenes.
It is a technical process that involves correcting any colour imbalances, adjusting the brightness, contrast, and saturation levels, with a natural looking video as an end result.
Grading, on the other hand, is more of an artistic process that involves adjusting the colour of the footage to achieve a particular look and feel.
This involves applying different colour filters or creating a unique colour palette that fits the style of the film
Colour correction and grading are important aspects of the video editing process as they ensure that the final video looks professional and is visually appealing. We work with experienced editors that are skilled in both the technical and creative aspects of editing film and can ensure that your video looks its best.
Adjustment Round
& Delivery
Then it is finally time to send the first version to the client for approval!
Based on the client’s feedback, sometimes some changes need to be made so we include the possibility to conduct an adjustment round to make the necessary adjustments.
Once the adjustments are made and the video is approved, we deliver the final product in the agreed-upon format. We can also help our clients with online video distribution, if desired.
